Piya Bawari

Piya-Bawari-Sargam

Sargam notaions for Song : Piya Bawari Piya Bawari
Music : Rahul Dev Burman
lyrics : Gulzar
Singers : Asha Bhosle, Ashok Kumar
Movie : Khoobsurat (1980)

Sargam Produced on C scale flute.

This one is one of the best compositions by RD.  Based on Raag Bihag or Behag, this song was a tough one for me to pull up for writing Sargam, even when it gives a clue in the prelude.  Playing it on Bansuri feels so soothing.  Though it is a bit fast paced song, I would suggest that you should go very slow for a couple of times until you get a hang of it and only then increase the speed of playing it on your instruments.
